The LIQUI-VIEW Base series works on the principle of a vortex. An obstacle (a body of flow) placed in a fluid stream emits vortices downstream with a frequency proportional to the velocity of the fluid. The piezoelectric sensor detects vortices and generates electrical impulses that are proportional to the flow rate of the liquid.

The MAG-VIEW series operates on the principle of magnetic induction and is therefore suitable for electrically conductive liquids with a minimum conductivity of 25 microns / cm. The output signal (pulse frequency or 4-20 mA) is proportional to the flow rate. The flowmeters are characterized by fast response, low pressure drop and all-weather (IP65) housing.
